Day 5 – Wickenburg to Cottonwood

Into the Arizona mountains, 103 miles, from Wickenburg to Cottonwood Arizona, including Mingus Mountain, topping out at about 7,000 feet.

A long slow slog to the top. Fun descent. Not much chance for photographs. Just this one, from about half-way down.

Just now catching up on your incredible ride, Michael. 100+ mile days in 100+ degree heat. I can only imagine…
Thank you for your commitment and efforts to these important causes.
You’re truly an inspiration to someone who has difficulty mowing her lawn or getting out the door to run w her dog because it’s “too hot and humid.”
I’m headed out! Stay safe, stay hydrated, have fun!
